LIBYAN COACH SHOT AT HIS HOME

El Badry shot in Libya



Libyan side Al Ahly Tripoli have announced their coach Hossam El Badry has survived a shooting incident on Saturday.
El Badry took the charge of the Libyan team last summer after he left the Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
"Our coach has been shot at his home after a match in the league against Swahli that ended 1-1. El Badry is safe but in depression after what happened " Al Ahly Tripoli said in statement.
" Three guys in car shot our head coach. We spoke with the police and who have launched a full scale investigation." Al Ahly’s statement further read.
El Badry who led the Egyptian side Al Ahly to win the African Champions League last season , took charge of the Libyan team last summer . They are currently on top of their group in the Libyan league with 7 points from two victories and draw.
El Badry was born in 1960 and started his career as a player in Al Ahly and stayed there till the end in 1987. He took the charge of Al Ahly team in 2009 before moving to Al Merreikh in 2011 and then Enppi in the same year.
